In 1984, as a young married couple with a growing family, Rich and Kathy Schlipf moved to Milford Indiana to join her father’s farming and dairy business. By 1993 the operation had evolved into Rich grain farming and selling Beck’s seed. Rich’s curiosity combined with his drive to help his customers improve led him to become a Precision Planting dealer in 2004.
Since then the planter side of the business has only continued to grow and keeping true to the family business, the second generation has joined the operation. Schlipf Precision Ag has taken the steps necessary to live up to their reputation as “the planter experts.” This approach has led to taking on dealerships of other frequently used products to designing its own solutions to having new and used planters in inventory. Rich and the team are always pursuing solutions to benefit their customers.
